Why are you taking part in the WorldSkills Champions Exchange?
Because I was given the opportunity to be involved with something only a handful of people in the world are given. I believe that opportunities like this only come once in a life time and you should grab them with both hands.

What do you hope to achieve, personally and professionally?
Personally, I want to be a better person and for me this would entail working with others from around the world to become more worldly-wise than academically informed. Professionally, I to hope learn new technologies to help me and my business in the future in reusable energies. I would like to use the knowledge I gain to help the environment and people alike.

Which country are you heading to, and why?
Australia. I love the country and the people, who work to live and not the other way round.

What is the most exciting part of travelling for you?
Learning about new cultures and meeting new people, so I can understand them a little better and respect them in their way of life.

Where is your favourite place in the world?
I don't have one, but from the places I have been lucky enough to see Canada (winter), Lembongan Island (Indonesia) and, of course, Australia.

Where else would you like to travel to?
Nepal mostly and China.

Any advice for other WorldSkills Champions thinking about heading abroad?
Give the greatest respect to everybody you meet and, if you can, never turn down any opportunity. Life is short don't waste it chasing a £/$.
