About the National competition

The German Mechatronics National is held at the BildungsMesse in the year of the WorldSkills competition hand in hand with the Chambers of Commerce. About 6
months before the competition, companies and
organisations are informed and can register to attend a meeting in Berlin where we discuss the
organisation and funding of training. Equipment is provided by Festo Didactic. After a familiarisation phase at the fair, the roughly 3 day competition starts. The
winning team is presented with the Mechatronics Cup, which they keep until the next competition 2 years later.

Then training of the winners for the WorldSkills Competition starts...

Mechatronics Forum

Parallel to the competition we organise here is also a Mechatronics Forum.
This is designed to give new WorldSkills member countries - and anyone who
is interested - the opportunity of visiting the fair to see nationals and getting a real understanding for the scope and level of the international event in a series of interactive presentations and forums by Mechatronics experts (jury members) from member countries.
