Mechanical Engineering Design - CAD Print E-mail

Skill explained

Mechanical engineer designers apply their knowledge to design all types of machines and their components using CAD software. CAD stands for Computer Aided Design. It is used to produce design documentation in manufacturing, including product drawings, paperwork and 3D models. CAD designers are expected to draw up designs accurately and meticulously and to have acquired thorough understanding of their CAD software.

CAD designers work in industrial design departments or design agencies. Professional CAD designers have to keep up with their industry's continuous development and new software.
