Skill explainedAircraft maintenance technicians inspect, maintain and repair the various electrical/electronic, mechanical, fluid and structural components of airplanes and helicopters. Aircraft maintenance technicians are employed by aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul establishments, and by airlines, the armed forces and various other aircraft operators such as; commuter, firefighting, air ambulance, police etc. Required skillsCommunications (verbal and written), reading, mathematics & physics, good eyesight, attention to detail, problem-solving skills. Working alone, as part of a team and under supervision along with training and an extensive knowledge of local, National and International government aeronautic regulations.
