Skill explained

Graphic design is ubiquitous! From advertising to packaging, from books to posters or displays, you will find it everywhere in your daily life. And in all of these cases, the role of the graphic designer is to convey efficiently a message to the public. To meet this purpose, he/she has to understand the needs of the client and the interests of the target market before making design decisions. Graphic designers work for printing or publishing companies, ad agencies, in-house services, etc. They may also be self-employed.

Required skills

Creativity, knowledge of typography and page layout, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, knowledge of the production process and of the computer softwares (Adobe Suite, etc.), capacity to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
