A native of Alexandria, Matt has been involved with the Center for Automation and Motion Control since he was a junior in high school. Matt is a 3 time medalist at the national Skills USA competition in Mechatronics.

Throughout his life, Matt has enjoyed investigating machines and programming them. In his spare time, he is working on cars, snowmobiles, and anything else that is mechanical or electronic.
