His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince to act as
Honorary President of the Japan Organising Committee for
the “International Skills Festival for All, Japan 2007”

His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince Naruhito has assumed the office of Honorary President, Japan Organising Committee for the “International Skills Festival for All, Japan 2007”.

The term of office of Honorary President commences on 18 January and lasts until 21 November 2007.

When the 1st International Abilympics was held in Japan in 1981, His Majesty the Emperor Akihito, then His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince, also assumed the office of Honorary President, Japan Organising Committee for the International Abilympics. As part of his role during the 1st International Abilympics, he attended the opening ceremony.
