Deborah Meaden is best known as one of the dragons from BBC TWO's hit show Dragons' Den.
Deborah started her business career with very little capital launching her own glass and ceramics import company straight out of Business College.
With several successful businesses in the leisure and retail sector under her belt, she became managing director of Weststar Holidays, which she later sold in a multimillion pound deal.
Since joining the panel of investors for series three of Dragons' Den, Deborah has invested in a number of businesses, ranging from Market Research to online Antiques valuations. Most recently she stepped in to acquire Fox Brothers, a Historic Textile firm based in the South West which was on the verge of closure.
"I am delighted to be an ambassador for WorldSkills London 2011. This Competition highlights the need for skills and the amount of choice out there for young people who have the ambition to succeed. For those that don't know what they want to do, come and Have a Go at any one of 46 different skills and find a career you have never known even existed!" Deborah Meaden.
