And begins the Competition Preparation Week

The first day of Competition Preparation Week (CPW2015) began with full energy. The event gathers more than 300 participants together including Technical Delegates, Chief Experts and Workshop Managers, as well as others.
Osvaldo Borges, CEO of WorldSkills São Paulo 2015, opened the plenary session giving a warm welcome to everybody and presenting the members of the Competition´s Organizer. “We are committed to making the 43rd WorldSkills Competition the best of the whole history´s event. Our trip began when Brazil was chosen to host the 43rd WorldSkills Competition. Today we are sailing towards our final destiny: WorldSkills São Paulo 2015.”

David Hoey, CEO of WorldSkills International, thanked the Competition´s Organizer for their effort and also presented the Secretariat Members of WorldSkills International. Following, Hoey highlighted that in the next days it is important to align the main technical details that involves the Competition, such as the infrastructure list, workshops layouts, health and security needs to the Competition. “There are only 190 days until WorldSkills São Paulo 2015. It is fundamental that all of you go back to your countries without concerns or any open questions. It is time now to finalize the discussions and decide on the final information.”
Night Program
The participants of CPW2015 finished the daily programme in style with a dinner at Terraço Jardins followed by a welcome drink at Havana Club, both located in Renaissance Hotel.
