Hong Kong Youth Skill Competition 2002 - Mechatronics Along with sixteen other trade competitions, the Mechatronics Competition was completed successfully in September 2002. Invitations and publicity materials were sent out to all technical schools, appropriate vocational bodies and tertiary education institutions in early 2002. Candidates who had signed up for the competition were offered preliminary training by means of CDs and web-based materials prior to the screening test, which was held in July 2002. Candidates who achieved a benchmark competence in the theory section went of for further training for the final, which was then held at the Lee Wai Lee Campus of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (HKIVE) in September 2002. |
