Welding and Cutting is a technical journal for welding and allied processes produced by DVS in Germany in collaboration with The Welding Institute in UK and the Institut de Soudure in France.

The Welding Institute is a learned society and is licensed by the Engineering Council (UK) to register Chartered Engineers, Incorporated Engineers and Engineering Technicians.  TWI is the membership-based commercial arm of The Welding Institute.
