The first national
SwissSkills Competition
For the first time, SwissSkills, governmental institutions and professional asso-
ciations have joined in partnership to hold all national skills competi-
tions at the one venue in the Swiss capital Bern.
SwissSkills Berne 2014 is not just a first for Switzerland, but is also the “world's largest national vocational training exhibition”. Around 1'000 candidates from all parts of Switzerland will pit their wits in 74 competing professions. A further 60 professions will be showcased in some form or another on the 80'000 m2 of the BEA exhibition site. Around 200'000 visitors are expected, 70'000 of them students.
