Competitors must be selected by the participating country, represented by the ministry in charge of TVET, or the organisation supported by the ministry in charge of TVET to join WorldSkills Africa 2022.
- The age of competitors must be from 18 up to 30 years old (based on the age at the time of the competition).
- The participation of the competitors must be fully financed by the represented ministry or organisation.
