Schedule/Event Overview

Admission to the four days of intense Competition at Stampede Park is FREE.

The skill competitions run all day every day for all skills. As well as watching 900 Competitors participate in 45 skills on the international stage, visitors can also explore:

Skill City: Visitors can try their hand at events ranging from landscape gardening to beauty therapy and carpentry to computer animation.

Global Skills Village: A hub of activity and learning, with over 120 exhibitors including industry leaders, educational institutions, WorldSkills International Member organizations and sponsors, Global Skills Village will be a one-stop shop for visitors considering new career paths.

Canada House: A full sensory experience; you will be able to see, touch, smell, hear, and taste how skills, trades, and technologies impact our daily lives. Interactive, educational and fun displays within the 5000 sq. ft. tent offer information about the technology, manufacturing, construction, transportation and hospitality fields for both potential students and workers and their parents, educators and influencers.

Alberta House: Showcases Alberta's key strengths - learning, working, innovating, living and visiting. Each themed area will feature displays, demonstrations, youth ambassadors, websites and interactive resources about post-secondary options, how to start a career in skills, trades and technologies and even where to plan your next vacation in the province.
