Held at The O2, the ceremonies will be dynamic and exciting shows that celebrate and showcase young performers from across the UK.
The Opening Ceremony will centre on the story of world communities coming together for WorldSkills London 2011 to create a lasting legacy.
It will welcome the international competitors to the United Kingdom, and showcase London as the exciting multicultural global village it is today.
The Closing Ceremony is where all the WorldSkills London 2011 winners are announced and all medals presented.
As such, it will have a strong theme of celebration and will highlight the springboard that WorldSkills London 2011 has created in terms of its legacy.
From performers to technical support and costume design, young people from across the United Kingdom will be integral to the delivery of every aspect of the ceremonies.
Although the ceremonies will not be streamed live, we'll be posting photos and videos from the ceremonies very shortly after the event, so look out for them...
We still have a few tickets available for the Closing Ceremony...
