The WorldSkills Champions Trust is a volunteer group of past Competitors who are the voice of young people in the WorldSkills movement. They work to raise levels of engagement among WorldSkills Champions and promote active involvement in WorldSkills projects, initiatives and activities. Former Namibia WorldSkills competitor, Tjihimise Karaerua, is now the new representative for Africa on the WorldSkills Champions Trust
The WorldSkills Africa Champions Trust is to be launched at WorldSkills Africa Swakopmund 2022. Representatives from various African countries will serve on this body and will collectively act as an advisory group working with WorldSkills Africa.
