Joinery
Joinery is the process of connecting or joining pieces of wood together through the use of various forms of wood joints. In fine woodworking, common forms of joinery include dovetail joinery, mortise-and-tenon joinery, biscuit joinery, lap joints, spline joints, etc. Joiners construct doors and windows including frames. Traditional craft methods are used, although there are a variety of woodcutting machines used in joinery.
