Mascots

Introducing Tug and Tess – the official mascots of WorldSkills Calgary 2009.

A massive, world-class event would not be complete without two unbearably cute mascots and WorldSkills Calgary 2009 is no exception.

Meet Tug and Tess.

WorldSkills Calgary 2009 unveiled its two official mascots on November 17, 2007, at the 39th WorldSkills Competition in Shizuoka, Japan.

Two Clydesdale horses were selected as the WorldSkills Calgary 2009 mascots because the horses are known for their hard work and dedication to duty.

Tug and Tess star in the One School, One Country book that will be released in June, 2009.
