As part of the Skill Fashion Technology we had a quiet auction for fashion pieces designed by fashion designers from all over the world.

The proceeds went to the "Leipzig Hilft!" initiative to support the people affected by the flood in Germany in 2013. For more information about this initiative visit www.leipzighilft.org

Visitors could place their bid on location. The bidder with the highest bid of the day was able to pick up his favorite piece at the end of each day.

On Saturday there also was a fashion show with the beautiful international fashion pieces.

On 24 July 2013 WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 delivered the proceeds of this collaborative project to "Leipzig Hilft!".

With our action "Ship Ahoy!" visitors could send paper boats on travel and win a ticket for the Closing Ceremony of WorldSkills Leipzig 2013.
In order to win the tickets, visitors folded a waterproof sheet of paper just the way they wanted and let it float on the Messesee (trade fair lake) in front of the Samsung Glass Hall.
Every afternoon a sponsor of WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 got out on the Messesee and fished the winner boat.
Well then, ship ahoy!
